This is the greatest ongoing post on the internet. I am riding the GASPE March 8-13. Have there been any recent seasons when the snow was gone by early March?
Those pictures are amazing. As someone from Massachusetts with very little snow and a short season, I envy the life of a full time Gaspe resident.
Let me know kind sir.

welcome on the p o g !!! thank you very much !!! if i remember well , since i groom the earliest i stopped grooming , 2 years ago .i stopped on march 25 th or 28 th.usually i groom til the first week of april .
there s a factor to that ,at the end of march or first days of april ,when we see there s no more traffic ,we just stop.
but if i look at mother nature ,i can t remember not seeing snow in march .back in the mid 80 s ,i remember going in the woods with my truck on april 10 ,must be in 87 .usually i begin to ride in the first days of may.
sorry if i took long to reply ,the program i use to post pics was full... of pics !!! ha !! ha !!! i had to delete a few !!!

after reading mcstar post ,just to make sure we understand each others ,i was talking about my area only.like i said earlier this morning on the other post .places close to the sea can melt faster than my area (valley ).specially where it s windy .fields etc .so those are the one to watch.
