This is an '08. There were 28 part updates to the front suspension alone to correct a severe darting and pushing problem (to have both of those issues on a modern design is really inexcusable from a company with this much experience and all the testing that is done on these sleds, but I digress). The cost to update to an '09 front end on the Nytro is well over $1,500 in parts alone.
It's not an excuse, it's called research. Don't bother posting any more '08 Yamahas please. This is the reason you are seeing so many '08 going for less $$, the owners hate the handling of their sleds that they paid $10K for.
It's the same rule to stay away from the first year of a new model design in cars. The overwhelming success of the 2001 Edge XCSP was an aberration (the 600VES motor was released in limited production since '99).
Here it is. It has literally fallen on your lap....You might need a new windshield.
