Thanks #7 for answering most of #5 questions. Now lets bring on the nick knacks! I'm in Naples,FL currently and just saw the cereal box I was eating out of on the hood of a race car. Go figure? It must be that drivers OFFICIAL cereal. #5 watch the game tonight and if you do you will probably watch the series.

I like to blame all the losing on Harry Sinden

Bruins won it all 37 years ago with Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito.
They went to the Stanley Cup in 1988 and 1990 with Bourque and Neely but lost both to the Edmonton Oilers.
They have a shot this year, but everyone likes Detroit and San Jose to win it all.
The fighting is part of the game. It helps fill arenas and it's good to see live.
Bruins vs Canadians Thursday night. Pop in on it from time to time especially if it's a close game in the third period about 9:00pm. You might enjoy it, you might not.
It's a lot of fun when they win it all. If you follow from training camp until they hoist the championship cup, the ups and downs during a 6 month season make it interesting. I've seen it a few times lately with the Red Sox and Pats and even once last spring with the Celts.
I've been to all of the parades for the Sox, Celts and Pats. Maybe this spring Big Z will pop his 6'9'' head out of a Duck Boat to a cheering crowd of 10 thousand in Copley Square.
When was the last time the Bruins won something significant? I honestly can't remember.
Given your lifelong dedication of being a fan of theirs: what in your opinion is the single biggest reason they cannot win the big ones?
I am tired of seeing Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics stuff everywhere and no Bruins stuff anywhere. We need them to win a championship so we can be inundated w/ Bruins key chains, Bruins seat cusions, Bruins bottle openers, Bruins folding chairs, Bruins propane grilles, Bruins umbrellas, Bruins coasters and many other things that have nothing to do w/ the sport like the other New England teams.
And what about the official bank of the Bruins, the official beer of the Bruins, the official oil company of the Bruins, the official lighting store of the Bruins, the official super market of the Bruins, the official plow of the Bruins, the official MRI center of the Bruins? How do I know where to patron if I don't know what the official partner to the Bruins for all these unrelated things to the game of hockey is??? I am so lost.
Let's face it, the Bruins have the best logo of all the Boston teams by a mile. I love the bold B w/ the lines going out. It beats the leprechan, the Elvis and a pair of stupid socks any day of the week. Is it true that all the seats in the TD Banknorth Center are black and yellow? I can't tell b/c all Celtics games are sold out so you can't see the seats. I don't watch the post game shows.
Why did they get rid of the blue streak puck? Does hockey frown on technology? One last question: will the NHL ever discourage fighting with some real fines and suspensions or is it a part of the game that the fans want to stay? All joking aside, hockey is a great game, no joking. Even though I've never played and I really don't watch the games with any regularity, I think the game itself is excellent and the players are absolutely some of the best athletes in the world bar none. What they do on skates is nothing short of incredible.
I would even go so far as to say they are in as good cardio shape as a motocross racer. Yeah, I know! But I really think they are... Well, that is if a motocross race was only 90 seconds long... Ha! Sorry, couldn't help it!!!!!
Such an exciting time of year - flowers coming up, air getting warmer, and Baby Rahal steals pole from Old Man Franchitti (#7, did you know he is married to what's-her-name the actress - who gives a sh*t).
Audi intoduces it's newest TDI in the R15 and this car continues their complete dominance in the P1 category with a win in it's very 1st race against the Pug. Lemans will be a outright cage match between these two behemoth factories!
Ross Braun gives the 7 year BAR then Honda team it's first two victories in his first back-to-back races. Something the mighty factory couldn't even dream about achieving. I'm sure there are Japanese execs saying to their F1 team managers "you need to kill yourself". hahahahahahahaha
And who else is on the podium in Malaysia - Toyota! Well, they can wait another week before they are told to kill themselves!! And where are the premier teams, Maclaren and Ferrari?? I couldn't even see their finishing positions b/c I don't have a large enough televsion to see that far down.
ahhh, yes, it is a great time of year for another incredible season of racing.
I was at Clery's Pub in the south end during the B's and Hab's game. People were going nuts in the bar for every fight. The 2nd period took over an hour because of all the hook outs. Recchi's OT game winner off of Bergeron's feed was priceless.
It will be a lot of fun if the B's get the Canadians in the first round of the playoffs unless of course if you're watching re-runs of European F1 races on Speedvision or reading about the Helio Jerkoff's tax trial.
#13, #3 and #4 will be watching BU vs Miami (OH) at 7:00pm tonight. BU celebrates their 5th National Championship up and down Comm. Ave starting at 9:30.
#2, did you know that BU is known as the Terriers? They have Otto on their shirts.
Did you see that Bruins game last night? One of the best games of the year. Fights, Sherwood shampoos, face rakes, an OT goal to win the game. Couldn't have been a better game. What excitement! They say Milan has an upper body injury but I couldn't tell. How about Alex Kovalevs 17 points in nine games. That guy can really shoot the pill. He is coming on strong. I wonder if Recci will get a contract next year? Are you watching the Masters? Did you see BU beat UVM in a close one? I think I will click on the dirt page around 9:00 pm so I can be sleeping by 9:05 and get a good nights sleep.
Like memorizing batting averages, or what college so-and-so played for, or who's currently injured, or salary contracts, who made the all-star team, or how many teams in which divisions have an above .500 winning record and other wicked interesting stuff...
Don't tell me you don't rap w/ your sports pals about this useless crap. We're all guilty of it. #3 asked who'd seen the goal some guy made - wait, that's when a puck goes into a net right? WHOA!! WICKED COOL!!!!
Crack me up, didn't you ever hear people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones??
Fair enough, this season is over so there's nothing to hang around here for. I'll see you guys over on the dirt page (for you true motorsports enthusiasts that is).
#2, maybe we should have a WPR Racer Page, we can post all about race results and team news and so forth. It will be super interesting all summer long!
#3 is less flexible than Arnold Shwarzenegger as the iceman in that Batman movie.
I wonder if the post was about waterskiing if his fingers would be so quick on the keyboard.
The season is over, lighten up. I'm surprised, you used to ride dirt and the next generation is getting started. Embrace all off-highway motorsports. We need to ban together now more than ever.
Sebastien Loeb and Stefan Everts went head-to-head on Thursday on the infamous Mur de Grammont in Belgium, just one week before the epic Tour of Flanders cycle race is due to pass over it.
Under conditions that were typical of the area (rain and just seven degrees Centigrade) five-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb and his Citroen C4 went up against Stefan Everts (a ten-time Motocross Champion) and his KTM MX.
This occasion marked the first time that a car was allowed to drive over the 800-metre Mur de Grammont. During the Tour of Flanders, one of the classics of the European professional cycling calendar, only bikes are allowed to ride over the cobbles, with a diversion put in place for the following support cars.
But for this momentous duel the local authorities made a rare exception and allowed the title-winning Citroen C4 WRC to drive on the road.
After two test runs, where the times were kept secret, the final duel went the way of the bike rider. Having been beaten by just a tenth of a second, Loebs forfeit was to clean his rivals bike after the competition.
It was a fantastic experience, said Sebastien. Red Bull came up with a great idea when they suggested this duel to us, and Im delighted to have had the opportunity to meet Stefan. Hes a truly magnificent champion, and his 10 world titles are an exceptional record of achievement. Of course I would have preferred to have won our duel, but it was a very close contest! I had the upper hand on certain parts of The Wall but I lost time in other places. At the end, it was too close to call.
As winner of the showdown, Everts had the satisfaction of watching Sebastien clean his motorbike after the finish. I hope Im the only person to beat Sebastien this year - or at least I wish that for him! he said. It was a real honour for me to meet him. Ive got a deep respect and admiration for rally drivers. I just tried to ride very cleanly in order to gain the maximum time possible and win.
