#7, that is so cool that you were listening to the simulcast. A very interesting perspective that the songs seemed slow/mellow over the airwaves. The atmosphere inside the hall was electric.
The other guitarist (from Allman Bros.) was superb. His vocals and guitar playing were outstanding imo.
Not complaining b/c they played good long sets but I don't care for Johnny B. Goode as a song anyhow, so as the only encore, a little bit disappointing. Especially back to back w/ One More Saturday Night, they are similar songs to me. There were several songs I don't know (i.e. the Phil tune). But it was good to hear them.
And what a treat to hear Terrapin! That and China Cat were my highlights.
#388, it's true what the Cap says, it's certainly not their responsibility, but I didn't get a call either (even though I have gone to several shows with these guys). No sour grapes - it was GREAT to see everyone there!
Anyone want to see Alter Bridge when they come around this summer?? I need a full-on rock show next!!
