RE: love the new cover picture!!

First, love the mid-summer chatter about the trip!

I like the idea of a non-refundable deposit required at the time a member "claims in".  Unfortunately, our outdated financial systems are too feeble and cannot handle that kind of monetary tracking.  Claims would be filed and the legal costs would bankrupt the club.  Not hard to do when $0.01 of debt would do it.

I like the west of Lac St. Jean loop idea.  I have been suggesting Chiboumagou(sp?)/St.Zenon for a couple years now.  Then again, the Thetford Mines area has never been seriously considered.  Depart from Pittsburg, NH?  Remember, closer, shorter, less expensive.  Maybe more members could stick to committment??

I think the September meeting will be well attended and spirited this year!!

ps> Reminder: #5 not in market for new snow machine this season.  thank you.

I am out if your all going to Labrador.  Count me in for a turn around Gaspee.  That include many of the interior trails in the Northeast section.

Labrador, obviously the worst idea for a trip of all time.

At 270 miles north of Baie Comeau??? Were you planning on a June trip?

Every single Polarbear in Newfoundland would be chasing our group. You know the fat guy would get plunked first..

This idea is worse than:

New Coke
Barney Frank as Chairman- House Finance Committee
Michael Jordan as an outfielder
Hydrogen filled blimps
nameyourwang.com (go ahead click on it)

all combined.

Next idea please.

#13,

I was tuna fishing last week off the tip of P-Town and I kept wondering if you might be there.  If you were you had great weather to be with all the others that share your interest.  I must say I haven't heard or seen you once this summer and it has been really nice.  It's to bad soccer starts up soon for our girls and I will have to see you again on a regular basis.  Don't worry I'll be wearing that fake smile you always see me with.

Let's get planning!

http://www.trakmaps.com/index.php

How about a non-refundable deposit this year for all members stating "I''m In this Year". Let's say $200 per person and our trusted treasurer of coarse maintains the books?

13 is back on the web, tremendous. I also like that mid summer trip ideas are being floated about.

I was speaking with both #5 and #10 about next season's trip (last weekend) and they said they wanted in.

Granted, it's August and all members are saying: "I'm Definately Going This Year".

I know that when I make that statement, my nose doesn't grow. I, otherwise, respect the enthusiasm of the club members.

Any one else have ideas for this season's trip?

Porsche pictures are nice, but they're nothing compared to fat-guy-action photos.

What a great 3 weeks it's been with #4 on one of his numerous vacations and not having to hear his drivel.. wink Great sign on that Porsche!  I'm going on record right now that I'm in for the trip and I'm voting for a progressive ride northwest of Montreal.  I'm also proposing going a little earlier than March although I do love that warm weather riding.  When is the sauna meeting #3???  13 out
