If I were you coming from West Townsend, I would park in one of the lots opposite the stadium. The further that you are willing to walk, the easier it will be to get back to 495. The EndZone Hotel (on the left) is .75 mile to walk to the stadium. Park closer than that. 495 is about 5 miles from the stadium. They will have 3 lanes open on route 1 going away from the stadium after the concert. Get in the lane that has been reversed. It is always 5 times as fast because nobody understands that they have just converted the lane with orange cones for one night. Also, if you get there early, you may be able to persuade the parking attendent ($20) for a good spot that's easy to get out of there.

Here is a website to check out.

http://www.gillettestadium.com/stadium_information

Parking lots open at 3:00 PM
Stadium gates open at 5:00 PM
Show starts at 7:00 PM
Gillette Stadium is excited to be your host for the U2 360° Tour.

If you arrive early, law enforcement personnel will have to instruct you to return at 3:00 PM, which may complicate parking lot entry for all patrons.

General Parking Rates
$40 for cars
$125 for RVs (enter P10N from the North, Enter P11 from the south)
$125 for limos (enter P10 N from north or P11 S from the south)
$200 for buses (enter P10N from the North, Enter P11 from the south)
$40 for motorcycles (one per space)
Parking Directions:

General Seating Ticket Holder Enter P2 or P10 from Route 1. Follow signs for "General Stadium Parking."

Please note that P10 is typically the last lot filled for traffic arriving from the north and P11 is typically the last lot filled for traffic arriving from the south. Be advised that both lots are located on the opposite side of Route One from Gillette Stadium.

Lastly, if you arrive from the south or from P10 and have seats located on the 100 level, the ramp immediately inside the Bank of America gate also provides access to your seats.

Parking Rules & Regulations for All Concerts
Parking and traffic control is something we are constantly reviewing here at Gillette Stadium in order to make your experience on game day the best it can be. With the volume of cars coming into and out of the lots from primarily one road, it is essential we ask for (and need!) your cooperation when parking at Gillette Stadium.

Good luck and have a good time.

PS. Next time just rent a room at the Renaissance Hotel at Patriots place months ahead of time partly all night and go home the next morning.

#7,

Please provide me with  tips from the top.  I am heading to the u2 show in Foxboro on Sunday night.  Which lot do I park in that will help me avoid the masses getting out of there after the show?  Is there a key lane to get in?  What am I up against?  Is it a complete horror show getting out of there? How long does it take to get to 495 north from the stadium with heavy traffic?  Do you like to Snowmobile?
