#7 your response is hilarious. And I agree with you entirely. What is the point of this rule? I understand Nascar is really a show more than a race, but I mean, really, a guy a lap down gets to go to the back of the lead pack if someone/something else causes a caution period... Wha???
Finding that being the lucky beneficiary as a result of being a lap down two times in a race is what makes this comment so funny!
Luck Dog Twice........Did you mean: NASCAR's Lucky Dog rule that states that the first driver one lap down automatically gets his lap back when the caution comes out?
Interesting. Doesn't seem like a fair rule. Why would he be that far behind twice?
He finished 24th, got the luck dog twice, had no penalties, extended points lead over the next competitor, had good pit stops and did donuts near the end.
