Sorry to mention my trail pass has been in for a few days as well.  Either way, we'll all have a good trip...somewhere.  Like #7 said, the worst part of the Gaspe is closed, we can either base camp out of one or 2 places, or reconfigure our route.

Everytime I see a post from "And Then There Were Six.." I get nervous.

Good to see everyone aboard.

Trail pass came in yesterday.  Picking up sled and trailer today.  Ready to go.  Now just a little more snow!

For those of you wondering....Yes I really am in for the trip this year.  Should have the trail pass from Bill tomorrow.  Sled is ready.

Doing some trailer maintainance and have the shop inspecting the axel and wheels to make sure it is ok for a approx. 20 hours of driving.  I'm also not sure if John's new sled will fit in my trailer (it is a 10 footer).  If we need to we can put John's sled on the four place and another sled on my trailer.

John is providing the tow vehicle as long as he doesn't have to drive in Canada (not sure if this is a preference or the law at this point).

I'm very excited for this trip after missing the last three due to work related issues.

Sorry to be an unhelpful member, but in case someone asks, I am not interested in putting a sled in the back of my (90K mile) truck for a 10.5 hour drive even for a fellow member - let alone someone I don't know.  Last time the back of the truck towing the 4-place was loaded with bins full of gear.  The cab was full of members bodies.

Sorry!

ps> I was reminded yesterday that #388 is a GIANT MAN.  Sitting in the passenger's seat he looked like he was in one of those red plastic toy cars my kids played in when they were 2.  I'm not sure he could even do the drive in the front seat.  My heart is going out to #7 in the back.  All I can say is I offered to drive this year (as I do every year) but I understand that I do not have a very roomy truck.  The offer still stands, but if people want to try something different, I would understand.  Does #99 have a full size truck?  We can at least pretend that he will drive up until he backs out can't we?  (Hahahahahahaha!  That was a good one!!!!!)

Pres,

You should change 13's avatar to a picture of a flat tire.

Pres,

I'm not a big fan of the meatball on the fork; bring back the muppet chef.

Now is a great time for me to "bow" out...I can't go because I have to sell windows that week to some cheap clock maker.  Oh well, maybe next year, I promise!

#13 was never going.  He told me himself.   This guy is a real chump. I think he heard you guys are planning on staying up past 8:30pm.  The Big question is when does #388 chime in and say he is headed to Barre, MA for a week of riding with Lampi and he can't go?.  They had booked a cabin and screwed up the dates.

#4 (just stirring it up but #13 did tell me)

ps cut your toenails before you leave

#13, that blows. I'm sorry to hear that.

Does this mean I don't have to ride in the half back seat for 11 hours in #5's truck?

If not, these are my ideas I have for squeezing in there:

A.  A pry bar
B.  KY jelly
C.  A running start
D.  #388 pushing
E.  The Man Girdle
F.  All of the above

Too bad.  That is just too bad.  We will still need your truck and trailer.  Have it gassed up on the 23rd.  99 will be by to pick it up.
