RE: New line of Sleds

Hey #7 I knew that would get ya going.  biggrinsmilebiggrinsmile

You have quite the impressive list going there for yourself now.
I'm impressed.

#10, does #28 add her own oil?, does she grease the skids? Does she change her own runners? Does she mount her own bags? Does she adjust her own suspension and limiter straps? Does she install her own studs? Can she drive her sled down to the dealership for a tune up?

She may be ahead of me when she's 11, but I got it ALL OVER her now.

I've seen those new sleds too. They cost $4K +.

I think the used (don't make it anymore) Ski Doo Freestyle 370 is the one to pick up.

Bob Jr. from Bob's ski doo rides one and his father swears by it.

Yeah MN I think it was.   I have to ask Larry at Cully's if he is going to be stocking any parts for these sleds?   Hhhmmmm?   Good question.

I agree.  There is a market for this type of sled.  I am tempted.

I did ask him where they were made and it took a while before he admitted it to me.  He did  claim that they were made to his specs.  (What ever that means.)  They might be fine.  I do not know.  Time will tell.  Service and parts were my concern.  I forgot where he is located?  Maybe Michigan or WI?

I think it was the YouTube article that specify's that the motor is NOT made in China, but rather a reliable European mfg.   I did see that somewhere.   Maybe they switched motor mfg's along the way???

They have been in testing on the trails for 2-years and now so hopefully any bugs have been worked out.

They look great and all of us have been saying that there really is a market for a few years now too, so I think they're on to something great!

I spoke to the owner designer last year.  He was getting a lot of 13 because the motors are made in China.  I am not sure I would buy a 1st year offering.  My 2 cents...

If you're like me thinking why doesn't someone make a good size kids sled, something larger than the 120's, yet smaller than the 380's full size sleds, we'll we now have an answer...

Just saw one in real life and they look pretty sweet!

A few more years on the SnoScoot and I see one in my future for my little #28  (p.s. #2 she wants #28 as her WPR #).

She was in the garage with me last night pulling her SnoScoot appart, she did ALL the wrenching and such.   My little 9 y.o. girl is doing more maintenance to her sled than #7 does to his...I'm so proud of her.  biggrin
