Well, my plan is to build a stand (saw horses perhaps) for the trailer and take the axle off for measurements. Either that or flip it over without crushing the salt shield.
So far I have accomplished nothing. My trailer is a leaf spring trailer so that along with the width is what has to match up perfectly.
I figure it's worth unbolting and replacing everything underneath.
The costs don't seem to be much more than $200.
I do have until next snowfall to get this done. I'd rather spend my cash on a new sled than a new trailer.
I just paid for Pats tickets, I'm going to Florida next week and I'm going to North Carolina in June. Money is getting tighter all the time.
find a dealer for your brand trailer and buy it from them. This way if you get the wrong one you can return it with out an issue. I was lucky to have Airport Trailers down the road.
