What about the people that just take from the system and never give back? I know, you already said it, " wellfare for the vast majority". I was at the Ole Brick store across the street buying milk and the guy in front of me paid for his food with his food stamps and his scratch tickets with cash. What rules was that guy playing by? No justice! Puck drops at 7:00pm!
I'll speak to the NHL and have them check with #5 before scheduling for next season. It's as good as a done deal.
That Macro-Economics seminar was not like I heard it in 1987. I did enjoy the forest reference. It was simple and direct.
What exactly do you mean by "the wealthy must put more back into the system"? Are you refering to taxes? Or do you mean circulation money right back into the economy?
Your argument with yourself looses merit for that vaguery.
If you are suggesting more taxes for the wealthy you would be left wing. If you are suggesting less taxes for the wealthy so that more cash is available to spend in our free market society you would be right wing.
I don't mean to be defensive, but doesn't that mean we are right back to playing hockey again?
Is there still (natural) snow or ice anywhere in the U.S. below 5,000 feet elevation? Then they should stop carrying on with hockey like a bunch of spoiled brats and move on to water skiing.
They are racing dirt bikes in Canada now.
The season is over, get over it and move on.
The Hangtown Classic is past, yet althlete's skate on. My point is valid. It is typical for those that will gain hide behind the loopholes and exceptions that benefit them which were written in by themselves and their cohorts to expoit the spirit of the rules that were put in place for the general wellfare of the vast majority of their countrymen.
The reason the wealthy must put more back into the system is because it is precisely from the system that their wealth has come from. When they take and do not replace, it is not a closed-loop system. And it will continue to dry up. Like taking the wood from a forest and not replanting new trees and expecting the forest to thrive so that more wood will come from it for the next generation. It is a selfish dim-witted single generation view of macro-economics. #7 can explain.
There is no justice when those without moral fiber and social ethic make the rules. That is the fuel of revolution. History is our greatest teacher.

ps> I guess this post could go in the "another American company that became great because of the workforce that created it cuts it's most important asset, it's employees, in order to create profit for it's shareholders, which may or may not be American" article.
5, you sound like a typical democrat making up $h!t like that. It took a republican on solid footing like the pres to correct you. You should run for office in CT. I have two questions for you. Do you have a war record? Is it true that you were captian of the ULowell football team?
- They've been qualifying for the 500 for 2 weeks now. - I've already been swimming. - Cut my lawn twice. - Daffodils and Crocuses are gone. - Water fowl have left their parents. - Snowmobile was put away months ago. - WPR BBQ is next month. - 1st round of Outdoor Nationals MX has taken place. - It's time to schedule our first Canada trip meeting soon.
Just like baseball and basketball, they just don't know when to quit. The racing is long over by the time you can see your breath.
Did anyone notice that the Flyers were once trailing 3-0 in the series? They were also trailing 3-0 in game 7, when Westfield State College's own (and Flyers coach) Peter Laviolette called what will go down in history as the greatest timeout in professional sports history.
After that the Flyers scored 4 unanswered goals and won the series.
That WSC is a hotbed for outstanding and distinguished individuals.
