Thursday: Bought Tube (Bass Pro Shops Brand), Rope and Pulley for summer boating activities for the children.
Friday: Thought about the bad review I read online about crappy tube, returned original and went back and bought O'Brien two man tube for an extra hundo.
Friday night arrived at lake. Too late to put in the brown hornet, so I hooked up the tube to the pontoon boat (all 50 hp's). One kid at a time. Around the lake we went. No dumps either kid. Big thumbs up for both kids. "Can we get up early and go on the fast boat?" (fast compared to pontoon that is).
Saturday morning, launched the turd colored boat without any assistance. That means running down the street to get the boat after I put the truck and trailer away. Rousted the youngins to go out on the tube, down a couple donuts and they are ready. They need a good base because the waves bounce these skinny kids pretty good.
Grandma aboard so both kids could ride together. Two smiling faces with thumbs up in the air indicating - "what kind of speed can that rust bucket do?" Well I showed these little darlings what kind of donuts the boat can do. The young fella slid off the side of the tube and held on bouncing on the water for about 1 second and then got flinged across the water like a rag doll. Here's his quote "That's awesome".
The young lady helped him back on the tube. She doesn't usually help him with anything. It was nice to see the siblings working together.
We went 3 times on Saturday and once Sunday morning before an early exit from the Lake due to other plans.
I dumped Jr. one more time on Sunday. That was 5 times tubing and to my amazement: no crying. That made it fun for all.
Tubing all summer until the Dung colored boat doesn't run anymore. All are invited. I promise fun for all.
I will be at Wyman Lake on Saturday. Anyone who would like to stop by is welcome. If you have a new jet ski, this would be an excellent opportunity to drive it on the water.
I just purchased a Tube for the short people. They are excited.
