My thoughts exactly #3, they did 564 miles on a weekend in November.  We didn't do that in 4 days of riding in January!  These guys don't spend a lot of time on the trail talking about where they are going. 

Let me see, with advanced math, that's an avg of 282 miles per day.  They might even skip lunch.  Maybe even skip breakfast?  New sleds, so probably no tech issues.  "Team Maine" so they're not from there, trailer time?

Wow.  Hardcore.  Kudos due.

First valin trip in the books, Great ride with some really great guys.
Lots of snow 1 to 3 feet depending on where
564 Miles for the weekend mostly off trail out of the way  
 
LOTS of sleds on Sat-Sun words out  
 
Leave Thursday AM for round two
