RE: Monday-President's Day

Looks like we're goin to have to have a WPR Ski Event for the families one day. As many of you know after about 14 years off I too got back into Skiing about 2 seasons ago and having a blast on the boards again! Let's all plan a WPR Ski Event to include those that have never been!

Speaking of that, anyone up for a Family Snow Tubing night up at Nashoba Valley ?

Sounds like a great day   I'm heading there tomorrow with my kids.  Love those lift lines!!!!  If you wait for more than a minute in line at Crotched something is wrong.

I actually skied for the first time in over 10 years and not regularly since I was 25.  I went to "The Crotch" with the whole tribe.

First I shreaded the bunny slope.  Staring down adversity is what I'm all about.

#7-jr. did not know how to stop and skied right off the bunny slope and into the parking lot.

Next it was up the chairlift to the green dot.  Piece of cake, bring it on...

Next up, the black diamond. It was like my own backyard.  To be fair expert trails at "The Crotch" are probably like blue dots anywhere else.

I had a nice wipeout with mrs. #7 right behind me laughing like a m.f. at my misfortune.

We put the kids in a morning lesson and they are now little Kamakazies.

I'm not lying when I say all four of us skied from the 9am opening until 3:30pm with just 30 minutes for lunch.

Not one lift line the whole day. I'm not kidding. I think it was #13 who recommended the place to me, helluva good call.

It had been a long time coming, but I guess I'm a skier again.

#3, I don't know if you are serious, but with no responses until today, I went ahead and made other plans. I'm going skiing with the family at Crotched Mtn on Monday.

I apologize for pulling the plug so early on that invitation.

#7, that is funny.  sorry.

While I'm not claiming I would be up for the day, this time I have a built in excuse that my drive would be about 1,500 miles to pick you up.

Is anyone interested in riding in NH on Monday, Feb 21?

I still have the itch.
