Can't thank you guys enough. I will need to borrow water skis, but I have a tow rope, PFD, gas+oil money (do boats still use pre-mix oil?), and will certainly bring refreshments for all.
When the weather turns, we will be ready. Thank you again. If any docks need to go in please let me know.
I too will extend an open invitation. I am still a big fan of the straight line. All I need is a couple of days notice and we can make it happen. I will also need to put my boat in the water. No fears, my lift is already in. I am planning on putting the boat in permanently once the kids are out of school. With any luck, it will be sooner. FYI, The water is unseasonably cold.
Hello Fellow members, this is one of your own asking for a tow.
#43 has informed me that he wants to learn to water ski this year. I am wondering if I may be so bold as to ask someone with a tow boat to oblige. This is an open and unabashed request. I am in need.
It seems to me that it is a junior WPR member's unalienable right to waterski. It is among the earliest traditions of our clan. It warms my heart that he asked this of his own accord. I will make it so.
I am asking this because I have been fighting the urge to buy a boat for years. When I lived on a lake I swore I would NEVER own a boat if I didn't have a place of my own to keep it in the water. I have cheated with the PWC. It was a quick fix sitting on the side of the road.
If this member falls for the sport as I, we all have, then the urge to buy a tow boat will be too great to resist any longer.
So what say you members, anybody want to pull my kid waterskiing?? Thank you in advance for this consideration. It seems to little but all I can do for now.
