Very strange comments, indeed. I think his posts kind of go in one direction and then just KEEP GOING...... I'm reasonably certain he didn't mean the coming out thing.
What's with the underbelly comments? Was he referring to my figurative underbelly or my actual underbelly?
Either way, everybody laugh at the funny fat jokes pointed my way.
No apologies necessary (for me anyway). I was just doing my part to start some banter on the site since the nights are now downright cold, and the calendar has advanced to the pre-season. But since this site, like everything else in this country, has got such paper thin skin and apology ready at the drop of a hat, I shouldn't be so surprised my goad drew out the "sorry blast".
I'm just sad to see that underbelly of #7 has got so soft. C'mon Man! Snap out of it!!
#13 actually answered my question (thank you #13), he wants to see the man-love relationship between you and #4, more fodder for him. My respect for him has gone up for sure, despite the utility sled he rides now.
I wonder if #10 will ever visit this site again. It is sad to see how he has no time for us anymore. Really #10, are you really that busy?? I have a hard time believeing you don't have time to type a couple sentences and hit send.
Let's start hitting the Reply and New Topic buttons a little more as the leaves turn!!!
Got my Sept SnowTech last week. It's here boys, get your machines ready.
We went to Old Silver Beach-there were no sharks and lots of fun.
We went horse back riding at Halland Stables (yes a 9 year old gets his own horse),
We rode the bike path from Falmouth center to Woods Hole.
We ate at the "Fish Monger"in Wood's Hole near the ferry. They had tremendous fried clams, scallops, clam chowder and raw oysters.
#5, I would like to hear about your discoveries on Cape Cod sometime if it's not too much trouble. I have very limited knowledge about your vacations other than Marco Island and York Beach.
I did not realize that asking questions to individuals on this site was offensive. Apologies to all that feel slighted.
The bro-mance that #4 and #7 share is wonderful. Don't hide your cute little emails to one another from the rest of us as #5 suggests. We all support you
I would suggest New Silver Beach in North Falmouth; I call it The Irish Riviera. It's a safe place for kids to ride their bikes, fish, play tennis or basketball on a public court 30 yards from the Ocean. The beaches are shark free and offer a swim raft about 40 yards off the beach. There is also a fishing jetty. Mini golf is less than two miles away along with bumper boats on 28A. Go carts on rt. 28 less than 5 miles away. Restaurants like The Chart Room serve one of the best Lobster salad sandwiches on the Cape and is a great place to sit and have drinks outside the Kingman Marina.. The Lobster Trap would be another dining option. Plenty to do with a 10 mile bike trail that goes right to Woodshole or take it five miles to Downtown Falmouth and catch the bike friendly Patriot ferry boat over to Marthas Vineyard. Ride around the Island and say hello to Obama. I have many fishing rods, a two person kayak that you are more than welcome to use. There is also a moped that doesn't work but if you invited the insulted #5 he could most likely have it running within minutes. There is a boat ramp right in the neighborhood and many golf courses close by. The wife might enjoy shopping, movie going or dining at Mashpee Commons. If you are looking to rent a house contact Real Estate Associates in N. Falmouth. The Sea Crest Hotel just under went a 15 million dollar renovation and is located on Old Silver beach right down the street. This Sea Crest is right on the beach and has indoor and outdoor pools. I think a house in New Sliver would be much more fun however. Call me with any questions you might have my cell is 978-265-8608.
Hey #7, if you only want to hear from #4 why don't you write him an email? Why do you want everyone in the club to see what only he recommends?
I have learned about several excellent kid/family-friendly activities, restaurants/ice creams shops, and beaches since I have started going down there in the past few years.
But I will keep them to myself since you didn't ask anyone but #4.
I'm looking for some places to go on Cape Cod that only a long time resident Cape Codder would recommend. #4, I need you to provide some spots that are children friendly.
What beaches are shark free and nice?
Mini Golf-Go Carts-where are the best ones?
Restaurants-places you like?
Things to do?
Anything interesting?
I ask these questions because you've got a solid track record for recommending excellent snowmobile spots for the last 10 years.
