RE: Looking for a trailer

Thanks #7, I appreciate the generous offer, and the notes on where I can buy a new trailer.  Realistically, I am not making any purchases for the sport of snowmobiling this year, I am just glad it wasn't my sled that broke in two.

The only possibility is if #1776 decides to get out of the sport entirely I will see if there are funds to take his off his hands.

I went through the same thing last year.  It wasn't easy trying to find a trailer for the next 10 years at the right price.

Take your time and get the right one.

Until you find one you can borrow my trailer anytime you want.

A hard decision has been made, not without the echos of all your voices in my head saying I'm not putting my machine on that trailer again!  Putting a G into a 10 year old trailer is probably not the smart thing to do.

So I have told the fab shop repair guy he can take it off my hands if he wants to.  So I am on the lookout for a decent covered trailer.  I have decided for sure that I will only get a longer model to fit 2-up and long track sleds so at least I can feel somewhat justified that I actually made an upgrade purchase for the future.

I know you all have waiting for this information so I'll just let that much sink in at this point.  Do not hesitate with questions or concerns.  I'm happy to work with you through this difficult time.

At first I was going to write an insult post to #4, I know #13 automatically includes word definitions for #4 where he deems necessary, but I didn't think #4 would have trouble with "covered".

Then I remembered #4 isn't part owner of the 4-place.  He just uses it to haul fire wood.  I think he should pay for the repairs since the trailer only 4 trips on it since I put brand new brakes in it when we bought it.

Speaking of which, since I never got a mailing address, I will bring my part of the repair money to the first meeting, I'm sorry for the delay #3.  How much is it per?

I know one thing, I will be on the 4-place this year since I have no other option.  Too bad the mice ate through my cover this summer since I had no trailer to store the sled in.  This has been a miserable experience so far.

#2, please add Load Rite among the trailers the walkn dude is pissn' on.

If you buy out #4, that will make you the single largest shareholder.  You would instantly become CEO of the 4 place.

It would be the first and only WPR hostile takeover.

Hello Members, thought I'd put the word out.  I can't avoid the jam I'm in any longer.  My trailer is still collecting tree droppings at the fabrication (repair) shop where it was limped after the Maine trip last season.  It looks so depressed sitting there.

It has been suggested that I cut my losses and get something new.  The repair guy said he would take it off my hands since he can do the significant amount of work it will require to make it road worthy again himself which is 90% of the cost of repair.

Argh!

So if you know of a used covered snowmobile trailer that needs a new home, I guess I am in the market.  Even though my bank account doesn't agree.  This also solidifies that the XC will see 10,000 miles under my arse.  I better notch up the maintenance program to the next level.

I should probably use this opportunity to get a 12 footer if I go extended track for the next machine or add a 2-up to the line up.

Did I say ARGH?!!??!!!
