I failed to respond to the new proposed date. I can make the 2nd or the 9th, or the 16th (9pm arrival), or the 23rd, or the 30th. How's that.
Disregard that I have early days on the next two Saturdays, I will not drink much anyways b/c my ski instructor evaluation exam is on the 10th and/or 11th and I want to be crisp on the boards.
You're right #2, there are motorized vehicles in his films; I mean, he's been making films for over 60 years so of course there is just about every imaginable means of having fun on and off snow in his body of work. I have also seen skiing down sand dunes in the dessert, skiing in an indoor ski slope in Abu Dahbi, skiing down a 100 foot high manmade wooden ski jump attached to telephone poles in Wisconsin (flat as a pancake) and landing on hay bales covered with man-made snow, they had fashioned a ski lift to bring them back to the stairs to climb this monstrosity from the rear axle of a farm machine just like the very first ski lift in..... Idaho (Sun Valley)!
I am so fired up to see this film with a bunch of enthusiasts. Remember Dust to Glory? It will be like that and even more so b/c skiers are a loud and boisterous group! But not as good b/c no Redbones with the club before the film. <sad face>
# 5.... Warren Miller films have included ski boats and a snowmobile, pulling a waterskier / barefooter, this segment of his film can be found on the Wpr you tube channel.
so don't be disapointed

Sure thing the 9th works well for me. In fact now it may work out better, I did someting to my back and have Sciadic pain and it may take a few weeks to get better.
How is the 9th for everyone???

You picked a jam packed weekend! Saturday #'s 5, 19 and 43 going to Warren Miller film at Hanover in Worc (you guys wouldn't understand, except #10, there are no motors involved, it's an awesome snow sport but gravity powered only!), then Sunday is SCI at the Orpheum in Boston (#2 will attend this as well). I am busy the next 4 Saturdays+Sundays early so it is a real challenge to vote for Friday the 2nd.
Can we move it back a week or two? It would be great to do it on a weekend b/c I'd like to spend some time in this man/motorsports love grotto.
