They don't have enough signs reminding everyone that they are "best snow in NH 6 years straight". We skiied from 9am to 3:15. My legs are junk today. We hit some of the blue trails yesterday, the kids are picking it up gradually. 9 lifts and 36 trails were open. 100% man made snow. The trails face Lake Sunapee so the view rivals only that of Wachusett.
The service was tremendous. I paid on the internet and printed the wrong receipt. It didn't matter, they looked it up, made me wait 5 minutes and handed me my tickets. No lines all day, ski down-ride right up. The high speed quad is a little scary how fast it goes.
The only bad thing that I can think of was searching desperately for a table to eat lunch on at noon. Some nice guys from Braintree let us sit with them. They have about 10 ski doos there parked in a corral next to the main lodge. Most of them were two up GSX's and there were a couple of Skandics as well. I noticed a few of them had ripped seats-literally a bummer.
I recommend Sunapee to WPR. The Sunday through Friday "Bring a family member free-deal" makes the price quite reasonable. If my wife had come, it would have only cost an extra $20. The mountain is about 15 miles past where Rt202 meets I89. Lake Sunapee town is pretty nice as well.

I have not heard favorable reports for up north yet. At this point I think it's still a matter of finding the mountains that have the best snow-making capabilities.
