I would like to put a motion on the table.  I'd like to suggest that I actually hosted the 1st 2013-2014 season WPR meeting.  I had arranged to have an amazing blues guitarist play at our meeting in a nearby tent and then race cars for the following day.  I also provided overnight accommodations.

It must be recognized that there were more WPR members in attendance at this meeting around the fire and the Pres provided delicious marinated steak tips for dinner and then fabulous Chinese sausages as a 3am snack to fill our bellies.

When you look at the facts from this perspective, it's hard not to support this motion.

Do I have a second?

#5, clear front runner for this season's WPROTY no matter how the points system has been structured.

I wanted to thank the Pes for the culinary delights.  I am sure if they were advertised as being on the menu, we would have had a better turn out.

When is the next meeting?

#4, excuses are like a-holes, we all have them and they all stinkno  You're doing a fine job upholding you're "non-social" status in the club (have you been to a single meeting in the past 5 years??)  Meeting was good, sauna/jumping off dock  was great.  I think this will be a big rebound year for the club.  Let's ride  -13

Long live the Pez, the Trail Boss and the Freedom Fighter....

Just when you think the club is forgotten, these old school riders bring it back to life. You are all commended.

Those who have posted recently are not bad either. Schedules, shmedules... We can do some riding this winter for sure, we just have to shoehorn some time into our calendars.

I'm even game for an overnight, but I don't think we should try for more than 2 days with our recent track record.

I'll be at the next meeting for sure. See you then.

Actually there is no chance you will see #13.  He hasn't stayed up past 9:30pm in the last twenty years.

I just spoke with #13 and I explained to him that my son has a hockey practice in Haverhill tonight at 8:20.  He said no worries because he will bring the beer and plenty of steaks for the grill.  I hope you guys have fun!

#4 told me he would bring Chinese food and enough beer for everyone.  confuse  I have to help run basketball tryouts until 8:45 so will be arriving around 9:30.  - #13 (and clear front runner for 2013/14 WPROTY)

Wait!  I'm still alive!!  Just found out my school meeting has been moved off Thursday night.  So I just may be free to attend.

Not committing yet, need to see how much work I will need to get done before leaving for the weekend.

But the door is open...

I like the "it's time to get a meeting scheduled" attitude.  It shows the crew still has the will, if not the way.  There has been no annual trip for 2 years now, is that right?

I am guilty as charged.  I will try to make it but free evenings for me now are a distant faded memory.  Once a date is set, I will at least go through the motion of checking my calendar.

My back can't take hauling the paddle boat down to the water again this year - please don't ask b/c it will sound like a good idea once I'm there.

Thanks for the generous offer to use the camp again #3, it is a great meeting spot.

One way I will make at least one meeting is that my basement is finished now (trim may not be painted) so I'd like to offer to hold the next meeting in P-town.

Thanks for letting me stay in the club in though I am an absentee ballot these days.

Tough evenings for me are Wed., Fridays and Sundays.  The other days look like they may be wide open.

I'll start splitting.

The sooner we nail a date the better for me my travel schedule is a little crazy of late.

Looking forward to it. I hope to make more meetings than I did last year, and likewise ride more trails than I did last year too.
