Person of the year does not equal wproty.....could the boss refer to the trail Boss...or did Bruce Springsteen join the club.....the secret life of a modern hero must refer to our newest hill climb specialist......

Congratulations! I was happy to be a part of this decision. You certainly deserved this award and to be the lead story on the cover of Time magazine is priceless. It seemed like this year there was no stopping you. I'm very happy for you and enjoy your new celebrity status.
I would agree that the pes has done a fine job his year. The reinvestment alone is worth noting. Not too mention the willingness to turn a wrench for fellow members. As far as driving is concerned, after years of hauling everyone else around, he is entitled to a year or two of being chaperoned. BUT, with to question, 229A deserves the highly coveted WPR of the year award.
Granted, start up costs are always higher than planned but 229A has been bitten hard. He started from nothing. This guy now has two National ranked boats and multiple engines. Add a trailer, tools, safety gear, gas cans, generator and even a new Ford F150 pickup. His investment to his newly found passion was off the charts. He has volunteered numerous time just to promote the sport he now loves. He has raced in at least four states. The last race forced him to drive through seven states to participate in the venue. Not to mention he was voted Rookie of the year Nationally for the entire country by his peers and finished 3rd overall. All this from a 60 year old?
Well Done. If I have a vote, 229A wins this year. This will be a tough act to follow.
