#10, I agree that is what I recall reading, but that is not where this club got dinged.  It was in Quebec City if I remember correctly, and we never read anything about that being a high crime region.

Never know.  Bad hombres all over in Canada eh?

Quite the Spot #7 - Beautiful view.....

Regarding Quebec, wasn't the Zenon area one of the highest theft areas?

Regarding VT ..... at limerlock we enjoyed a few beer with 2 fellow snowmobilers that live in the northeast kingdom... there opinion about snowmobiling in Vermont was we ride in New Hampshire for a reason.

lets not not forget about Fort Kent area......it was a real treat 2 years ago.

but my 1st choice is cote Norde .... we have no idea what we missing

I like the idea of bringing back the Quebec trip. We've never had a bad one. We have adapted to whatever mother nature throws at us. I'm fairly flexible for riding most of this winter. I can take anytime that does not include the 1st-3rd business days of the month. I booked Sunday River/Grand Summit for Jan 15-16. I'm probably going to Utah in mid March. Otherwise my schedule is wide open. I'll take that ski weekend with 5 & 43 anytime anywhere, we should convince Scott and #10 also.

You should consider the exhaust solution our friend from the Pittsburg trip suggested.

Big season ahead. I'm ready head north, bring on the snow.

I like the idea of an area in the mountains we have not ridden much/at all in before, what I remember about st. zenon was that there were a lot of sleds in that area, seems like a high traffic area.  just an impression, no research by me yet.

I will look up when our school district Feb vaca is, probably the same as all Mass public schools.  #7, I plan to take #43 skiing north this winter as well, let's plan one of those getaways together.

I keep hearing about VT also, I would be willing to shell out the insurance $$ to try it out, but I want to do all of the trip there if we all get reg'd there.  I don't mind lower daily mileage rides because I think the riding will be good and the places we see beautiful.  also, accommodations should be nice also.  may be more expensive than Quebec but will save some time and money on gas with the shorter haul.

I promise to come to the meeting with a couple ideas.

That could work. To be clear, are you talking some date between 2/17-2/25? I think that is also school vacation. I'd like to take Douglas skiing somewhere if the snowmobile trip doesn't take up my whole time off. It worked out last year when we went to Pittsburg with #5 in that Nor'easter.

Anyone else interested? Quebec, Nord, Sud, Poutine, Labatt's Bleu, Saguenay Bill, a favorable exchange rate, best trails in the East, no nagging for a few days.... clear those schedules.

How about Feb 10-14 around the Laurentian Mountains? La Tuque, Saint Zenon, Tremblant and that area routes 345. 33 & 83.

More realistically the nicest & most secure places to stay and wherever the snow is.

Hello riders,

I found a spot in Quebec, not too far from Shawinigan to wrap a trip around. This place looks cool.

I need straps and clips and some sort of anchors. If I was riding tomorrow Id use a bungee for the front and the rear straps attached to the rear frame.

Calling #3...

Hope all is well with you and your family. Summer has turned to fall and I've got a question for you for the upcoming season.

Question, I think you have the below tunnel bag from ski doo. Did yours come with mounting brackets to either bolt on or rivet on to the tunnel/frame? I see the straps on there to hold it in place, not sure what they attach to.

I'm thinking that's why I got such a good discount. Any information or pictures would be a great help in this inquiry.
