I don't want to get into my work situation these days, but it's taking up a considerable amount of my waking hours. I'm planning on attending as many club trips as possible. My trips cannot cross month end (last or first business days of the month. I'm open for any new destinations or heading back to some old stomping grounds. I'm planning for the season by preparing my sled and trailer for long travel.
Last season's trip was unreal. #2's years of pleading for the Cote' Nord really paid off. It will be a lot of fun trying to top that one.
I'm confident we can do it.

I mean really #7, it was only you, me and Prez on the last trip, so it doesn't make any sense to have a meeting without you. As far as I can tell, we are the only 3 confirmed for this year as well, so it seems to me you should be at a meeting where we are picking dates and destination! haha
Hopefully others will be able to join this year. A long time ago we agreed that we would choose trips that would allow as many members as possible to join. I'm all for that still.
I received a Trail Pass Purchase Form from Les Adventuries de Charlevoix Motoneige Club (where we registered at the Casino last year). It is $325 before Dec 9 and $400 after.
My suggestions for meeting locations stand unless others prefer somewhere else.
Agreed. I got a pair of XL which I never take in anything, well, except I had to exchange my Bell helmet to an XL now that I think of it.
I had put a text out that Dust 2 Glory 2 was out on DVD, I will try to get a copy, I think that would be an excellent club meeting to watch - but maybe you aren't keen on mixing up Dirt side and Snow side.
Klim gloves run 1 to 1.5 sizes small. Hope you tried them on first. I had to send a pair back to Amazon last year. Baffin has a nice lineup and I'm going with one of those. Thanks for the tip.
I can do most nights that are not Wednesdays for meetings.
I can swear by the Baffin Impact boots my better half got me 2-3 seasons ago. They feel like bedroom slippers and my feet are usually toasty if not sweating, wear thin socks on mild days. Never ever been anything close to cold. High uppers prevents any snow from entering even when tromping through deep pow, and good traction on the soles. Easy slip on with a cinch cord at the top, that's it. What else can I say.
I hope the Klim gloves are good - just dropped a Benny on a pair of Powerxross where the dealer told me they are good for cold weather moto riding as well, so hope to get good use out of them.
Onto Trip ideas:
I like all 3 of these ideas for trips this season, but it would mean 3 registrations. That does not bother me, it all depends on if snow falls in the Millinocket region, I feel like that area is susceptible to low snow conditions.
What about a meeting, did I miss dates that worked??

No more sappy movie references, I take full responsibility for going down the wrong trail. OK back to snowmobiling talk. What do you like? Baffin boots, FXR boots, Kastle boots or some other kind? Definitely don't like the Klim boots. I'm leaning toward Baffin at this point. All opinions are welcome...Go
Ideas for trips in 2019
1. Shawinagin through the Laurentian Mountains for 3-4 days of Quebec progressive riding.
2. Milinocket, ME with a view of Katadin for 2-3 days of riding to and from the Northern Outdoors sister lodge.
3. Gorham, NH for the weekend of riding from a different launch point but familiar riding spot.

Btw, did you really not like A Star Is Born?? I've never seen the original and was forced to go, I had a lump in my throat when Andrew Dice Clay was apologizing to Lady Gaga and she said "stop, how many times did you carry my piano up the stairs.." great moment in an Italian home across the dinner table. Movie showed you the destructive power of alcoholism and did not have the Disney ending. I thought it was a good movie - is it about a particular singer, or fiction?
Whoa! I'm glad someone pointed me back to the forum - it's where the latest news is!!
I'll ask about the hiatus in September when I see you! It's a conversation I never thought I'd be a part of.
I am up for putting dates on a calendar anytime in the next 2 months - I have a new boss and would love to block off 2019 time so there are no surprises.
#2 and I bounced a few ideas around just to pretend we were talking about snowmobiling. He is doing real work but I am doing pretend work (replacing fuel lines) to get the old gals back in Pittsburgh worthy shape. I can't wait to ride with #43 this winter!
As far as meeting dates and locations here are some suggestions:
Thurs, Nov 1 at 7:13pm
Tues, Nov 6 at 7:07pm
Fri, Nov 9 at 7:33pm
the hockey bar on Airport rd. in fitchburg, Center Ice, Yelp says it's CLOSED, true??
how about Legends on Airport Rd.?
Let's go back to the Hood at Blueprint in Westminster, MA - they have live music
Or try for Wachusett Brewhouse on 2A in Westminster. They are not a bar so maybe a Saturday afternoon meeting
