Your registration has expired on the last day of November. I found it in my glove box this week. I put two new tires on my trailer (ok Bob's Ski Doo did it). I also got a preseason tune up completed as well. I needed two new bogie wheels because they were hacked up. Ice scratchers or studs messing with it.
I'm ready to go as soon as Saturday. Has anyone given any thought to when we want the big trip to be? I'm thinking mid February. That would be my preference anyway.
Like most things in this club, not much happens unless the Pres leads the way. And the report in this post is no different. After seeing that the Pres needed to replace his trailer axle a few years back, and after burning through two $100 tires myself, I purchased a new axle for my hauler.
Installed this weekend, I opted for the galvanized axle and rims for the new tires. Have to say, it looks darn good and gives the old carrier a fresh new look. I still haven't towed with the new SUV but I'm sure it will pull fine.
The two sleds are in the garage bay and ready for their pre-season prep work. I am excited to get the old XC back into ship shape as there are plans to have a rider on it over Feb break and take the little lady out a few times. I am really looking forward to having new riders and gives me the excuse to put the communicators back into use.
