After a quick snow blow of the driveway, I dusted off the ski doo. Pushed the start button, angled the sled in the right direction. Drove it out of the garage and onto the white fluff. I did 15 laps around the yard. Dog and wife in the window watching. The 2017 sled with 4733 miles on it ran perfect. I understand Pittsburg, NH opened trails on 1/6/2022. Get your oil, registration and get ready.
Bonus, I was listening to WEEI (sports radio) this morning and heard a quote from the Sudbury Department of Public Works Director: Dan Nason explaining why the roads are late being plowed. He stated, "Like any other business, Covid has caused many of the workers to call in sick". It was great to hear his voice on the air. Nice guy, I talk to him quite a few times in the summer. He's always blasting around the lake in his Whaler.
