#99,

I warned you about what that BMW represents, now you see what I mean.  You will only continue to feel the empty pain.  Trade that thing in now for a Ford and come with us next year.  You missed an amazing trip, don't let it happen again.  I just got my 3% merit increase and I'm happy to have it instead of a pink slip.

I guess I'll see you at the WPR BBQ - oh yeah, that's right, you don't go to that either.  200 posts, get real.

...And the Truth shall set you free!

See you in the fall,
#5 (tough love for #99)

just noticed I had 199 posts.  Seemed silly not to have 200.

Guys,

I'm sorry to have to back out at the last minute.  Believe me when I say that I am more upset about this than all of you.  I had things lined up nicely as of last week and then things changed and got pushed to next week and screwed me up.

#5...you are right about life and work and it should be as simple as that.  Unfortuantely for me right now it's not.  I have worked harder these last few years than I have my entire life (I know that is hard for you all to believe, becuase #13 and I work for the same company, but we couldn't be in a more different environment).  Unfortunately, the work the last few years has been completely front-loaded in the 1st quarter.  If we could go snomobiling in June, I would be in great shape.

#5, the check is in the mail for the additional $46.  IF I owe anyone money for the hotel rooms or parking please let me know (except you #13, you won't see a penny).

Have a great trip, be safe, and if anyone wants to use a Red F7 that is fully registered in Canada and ready to go (NEW TIE ROD END #5), let me know.  My only rule is that if you break it you fix it or buy it.

#99

That's $20 from #99 if I bring #388 with me.  Was there another bet from months back with #4 (about #388)as well?  I'm reasonably certain, but I won't press.

It's still only Friday morning, with plenty of time to at least try to make arrangements at work or with another sled etc.  I think, at the very least, an attempt should be made, that is if you want it.

I quote the great Red Auerbach when I say: "There's only one ball out there, if you want it, you have to go get it".

The team bus doesn't leave until 5:00am at DoubleD on Saturday.

Disappointed to say the least, both members "ragged" on me about pulling out this year. #3, I drink RedBulls and Vodka @$4 a pop. 12 a night is average X 6 nights would bring a bar tab total of $288! Don't welch the bet!

This is two years in a row for #99 - I hope that job is worth trading your life in for.  My personal life has always been, and always will be the most important thing to me, that philosophy has always served me well.  but that's just me.

I don't know what the story is with #3.  what changed since Saturday?

Pres, we're going to have to come up with another "award" title for last minute dropouts like this.  Do your personal commitments mean so little to you?  My apologies for my tough tone, it comes from my sorrow that you guys won't be with us.

I'm shocked.  Is this final?  Is there anything I can do to convince you otherwise?

#3 and #99 are out.  Please adjust your trailering plans / timing accordingly.  Assuming there are four sleds still going on the 4 place I will tow the Pez's trailer with his and my sled and can take an additional person or 2 in my truck.
