RE: Gaspe day 1

Day 5, 190 miles, Chandler to La Cache.  Last 2 days were the most spectacular trails é scenery I have ever experienced on a sled.  Ascendng and descending these mountains is awesome and pretty scary too.  Today was mostly riding the southern coastline with great ocean views but mostly flat.  The last 50 miles were up trail 595 into the mountains with some perfect trails.  Tons of deer and moose.  Last riding day tomorow with about 180 miles left to where we started.  13 out
ps Johnny Flippicon is fine after his little trip over the hoodbiggrin

Gaspe Day 2
Tons of snow today.  It finally stopped around 3pm.  #7 and #5 rode 15 miles on some local trails and had a few 7-8 foot drifts to contend with but they had some fun (after #5 realized after 12 pulls that his key wasn`t in the ignition!!!). #388, 13, 2, and 10 borrowed the lodge`s snowshoes and went for a hike. We ended up in a 75 station Ropes course and had a blast trying out about 10-15 of the "highwire" traverses (with no safety harnesses I might add". This place is awesome, the hosts are great and fed us moose for lunch and dinner (it`s fantastic). We`re hoping the groomers are busy tonight because we plan to start the ride in earnest tomorrow. Planning on a big day to make up some miles but that will depend on the grooming situation (everyone is saying this is the most snow they have seen in years. More to come. 13 out

Made it with no issues, if you don`t count the last 6 km. 10hr`s

388 had some issue climbing the snow covered 4 x4 trail.

The owner of the cabin tell us the trails will be closed tomorrow due to the snow

Looks like we will be adding another day to the trip
