Go easy on #10 Pres, it takes time to get back into the saddle again. First a meeting, then a post, he even called me this week looking for his sled dollies. I said: what do you need those for?! Ha!
I am very excited to see #10's return. This is what watching Tom Brady put on shoulder pads again will be like. New wife, new house, new town, and after all the dust settles, he is regaining his bearings and what is the first thing he looks to for direction - that's right - snowmobiling.
Well, at least we know the answer to #99's question of whether this club meets or rides. And we also know which members do which.
Not sure exactly why #99 chose not to come - I think he said he didn't want to get his snowmobile dirty. Excellent reason, because now his sled is nice and clean.
Well done #99 - this will take you a while to live down.
Have some fund up there. If you don't like the conditions, just remember that I'm sitting at my desk in downtown Boston wishing I were riding a sled with all of you.
I was in the north country this weekend (N. Conway, NH and Bridgton, ME). Although it did rain a little bit up there, most of the "groomed" snow (i.e. ski trails, hiking trails, etc.), basically anything that had been packed down before the rain was fine.
I think the trails will be typical early season conditions. You guys rode Corr 5 in southern NH when you trashed your sleds, that will not be the case 3 hours north of that.
I am in and say we roll - all I need is 1. I know I can count on the Pres, he has a nose for the snow.
I am in. The 4-place is just dying to go north again. I will tow either my 2 or the 4-place.
Still haven't done pre-season prep, but there's PLENTY of time!! Good thing I do such good post-season work so there's really nothing to do. Just a quick repair on the skid (5 minutes work). And a VERY thorough inspection.
And add oil.
Ready to roll, remember we can reg at the Sunoco/DD on Rt.13 in Brookline I believe it is, they open at 5am. #5
