RE: Ride report - Brookline NH 1/15/09

#99,

I don't blame you for not letting #13 in your house.  You're much better off keeping a guy like that in the garage.  Well done.

A great local ride report.  Nice job guys.  Wish I could make.  Next time.  But I'm always there in spirit.  (I know that counts for $hit!)

Attendees - #2, #13, #99, #4 (not!)

Mileage -33

Conditions - clear and a little briskwink

The three amigos met at #99's at 7:30 pm and with minimal banter hit the trails.  We rode for 2 miles when #99 decided he was a bit underdressed for the occassion and returned to his house for more clothes.  We then used some new trails to wind our way down to route 13 (crossing the always fun suspension bridge in the process).  After crossing 13 I stopped to adjust my modular helmut as I was getting some freezing / fogging (i would do this on numerous occassions this evening)  We then climbed Big Bear and headed over to Potanipo for a few speed runs.  We then headed north on the rail bed until #99 decided to take a rotten trail and we explored for awhile.  At some point my left ski went under a bridge requiring me to back up and thinking I snapped the ski in half but no real damage (amazing stuff that plastic..)  We then found Potanipo again and buzzed around seeing the only 2 other sleds we would see that night.  Then back to 99's for a coup[le of Labatt Bleu's in 99's -10 F garage.  maybe next time we can come inside #99confuse  It was a good local ride.  We talked about doing it again next week with a stop at the Chinese restaurant thrown in.
