Thanks to #3 for hosting this meeting. The camp, boat ride, jerky, beer, ice tea, sauna, chips were all outstanding.
#388's shrimp was crazy good. Possibly the best shrimp ever.
#4, #5 and #13 were missed. Work out those schedules.
Hopefully the last 2 weeks of January will be convenient enough to get many WPR members to the province of Quebec.
Driving home was a treat... I ran into construction, detours and delays. It made the trip home 1 hour 45 minutes. That 24oz Arnold Palmer ice tea/lemonade was great to sip on the long ride home.
I appreciate the generous invitations to stay over. One of these times, I'm going to take you up on it.
I'm tired as hell today, but pumped for another season on the sleds.
#5, email parent teacher dialogue of questions and concerns early afternoon. Leave the line of communication open with compliments and gratitude for a fine job molding young minds.
Have the oldest and certified babysitter in charge for the evening-no charge
Problems solved. #5 is now the first one on the southern nh lake.
Swing by Chopsticks on the way. I like eggrolls and crab rangoons.
7 is my digit and the problem solving is legit.

To be honest everyone is a little nervous about getting in the sauna changing room with you. They still want you to make the meeting but I've been asked by the group to suggest to you that you show up late so nobody gets uncomfortable.
I am the worst member of the club. I am once again vying for Internet Only Member of the Year. Turns out I must attend open house/meet the teacher night at the school until 7:30pm. Add to this a 40 minute drive up to NH and it will probably not be worth the trouble of finding babysitting care on a school night.
What can I say? I'm sorry members... have a sweat for me please.
Sad, #5
ps> Plan a trip to the Gaspe bc at this rate I won't ever even make a meeting again. I am so depressed.
pps> FYI: stopped by the Higgins tent at Sterling Fair. They have 2009 MXZ XP 600 e-Tec, and 2009 IQ 800 Cleanfire each for mid $8k.
#4, nobody (except maybe #7) wants you at this meeting (unless you bring large amounts of chinese food and ice cold beer) Please do not show up without these items.
17th sounds good. I'm in boston for a meeting until about 4:30 or so so so won't likely be there until 7pm or so.

Correction: My wife has a Dr. visit Thursday and depends on how she is feeling I may not be able to make it after all. I'll just tell her to toughen up!

The 17th or 22nd works for me. Did I hear something about waterskiing being made available?? If mtg takes place on 22nd, I will have the HO Mach 1 with adjustable plate boot. Can you believe they offered an ADJUSTABLE PLATE BOOT??!!?!? What the hell is that anyway??? And we bought it!!!!
Please discuss the Gaspe option early in the meeting so I can skip that portion.
First and Foremost - Porsche Pictures belong EVERYWHERE!!!! especially when they have mention of SNOW. I love it! Just like my Boat Name! Can anyone guess or remember it?
Yes I have a spot in Hudson center that has one long pouring trough of over 80 beers on tap. Great food and good venue for our event. I've been scoping it out and getting to know it intimately practicing for our meeting this year. After many practice rounds I highly recommend this venue boys...I think you'll enjoy it.
Sept. is booking up fast but currenlty I can do any night Sept. 22nd - 25th #2 call it since you started the thread.....Good Man!
Looking forward to some good riding in Nunavut this year!

#4 suggests we get back to our roots. I agree with him.
Porsche pictures belong elsewhere.
How about a photo of someone's upside down sled with no one helping him? How about a photo of Big John's sled sunk in a huge snow drift? How about a photo of #10 taking his sled over the top of a sand pit? How about a photo from Aroostock County?
Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you on all counts. It all starts with the home page photo in my opinion. What gives with the car photos? Those car photos are killing me and this web site. If it's going to be a car photo why not make it a 69 Judge or a Vega with a kick ass Alpine stereo or how about a brown Nova? Better yet bring back the guy with a helmut filled with face standing next to his sled by a sign reading Jonquiere 145 km. That being said, I am always up for hosting a WPR meeting.
#5 here, checking in Capt! Although I have no free nights anymore with all the hoopla my kids are signed up for, I am sure I can get away one way or another. I heard that #10 has notified #2 that a meeting place has been selected already. You will like it #7 as the selected location reduces your drive time.
#4 is likely to show because there are over 100 beer selections. That is not a bust, that is a compliment, for the record.
Several ideas have already been floated during the summer months and we should build on and then ignore those just as much as we will do for any new ideas that are presented at the Sept meeting.
#3 does not need to come because he is already pulling for Gaspe again. It will take many chachky's to move the group to that destination again.
How many will even publically state that they are planning to attend this year's trip? Will the non-refundable "I'm in" claim deposit requirement that was proposed be voted in and implemented? How many different snowmobiles will #5 swear he is buying this year before he writes a scathing post that he is NOT in fact buying a snowmobile? Is there now a precedent that goose liver pate MUST be immediately served upon arrival of any cabin destination? Is Canada still open?
So many questions... so many beer choices... which will prevail...
Chime in that you will be at the meeting to find out!
