No, I'm afraid not.  Just be able to get more miles in a day.

But you just gave me an idea....Let's see....

Dateline PRINCETON - In a shocking twist to the once thought all but finished 2010 winter riding season, #1776 out of nowhere ramps up snowmobiling operations.  As his happy neighbor, #5 was somewhat bedazzled to hear the sound of what he could swear was distinctly a snowmobile engine noise coming from the once active members house.  A closer inspection revealed what could not be mistaken as #1776 riding around on his blue sled in the yard.  The engine sounded crisp from 0-25mph.

He then called me over to discuss what action had been taken on the sled.  The fix so simple, it would make you weep if you where up to date on what level of troubleshooting has gone into this machine.  Upon further discussion, he removed the pull start housing for a quick confirmation that the magneto/stator area had not been submerged.  It did not appear to be so.

Then #1776 dropped the bomb, would I like to go for a decent local ride in western MA.  We are still both registered and he contacted a friend in N. Adams who said their club trails around and on Mt. Greylock were still in good shape and were groomed on Sunday.  So we will make a day trip to this Pittsfield SF riding area on Tuesday, 3/9.  The purpose is to get a minimum of 50-60 miles and check the low end throttle response and fuel economy.  Full reports will most definately follow!

Sorry the for the last minute invite, but I had to be revived and just came out of my shock paralysis state.  (hehe, just havin fun #1776)  All are welcome to join if you have a last minute opening.  We are two in my trailer so self-conveyence is necessary.  I am so curious to see if western-Mass trails are better than southern NH trails.  Weather looks perfect for a spring ride with clear skies and high in the mid-40's.  Also, I believe there are snowmobile trails to the summit of Mt. Greylock, Massachusetts hightest peak at 3,400' if memory from my hikes up it serve.

Happy Trails,
#5
