Father and son out for a long overdue ride in the dirt. Dropped at yellow gate, headed down road toward hill climb. #19 tried to ascend only to bury rear end up to axle. headed toward power lines. took left and did "end of loop" backwards.
I wanted to do the long loop w/ him but I could not find the trailhead off the powerlines. found an old trailhead but the large rock fields proved too much for the little trx90. Although, b/c of the little wheel track, we did find a very nice single track. it was slow and steady for #19, but I had fun.
we did some of the std trails and just explored around. a couple rests where we could do some quality dad and pre-teen bonding. it was a good investment and highly needed for both of us. RVing and ATVing have huge family value.
I'd guess we covered about 20 miles in 2.5 hours. We laughed at eachother dirt goatee's when we got back to the truck. very dusty out there.

ps> what does it mean if the idle suddenly revs very high and you can only get it back down if you ride some more but then it comes back again? I'm afraid I need to start thinking I have an air leak.
