#7,

You've changed.  Can you come over with your timing light and adjust the timing on my Buick?

Great review #7, well done.  I agree on your every conclusion.  I am THE CRITIC - and I could not find a fault with the movie other than I didn't want it to end.  Good job Ron Howard, I guess you can stay mega-famous for now.

It won't be long until it's time for Men At Work to get the cars rolling in the Land Down Under.  Indycar too!

ps> Congratulations to Li Na for taking the Women's Single Finals at the 2014 Aussie Open.  Wawrinka has earned kudos to get the chance but Rafa is playing like a rip-saw.  good luck to the Swiss-er.

pps> Speaking of rip-saws, every member should give props to #2, the man he had remained faithful to buzzed through the world's fastest on two wheels in the dirt taking the top step at Anaheim 2.  Reedy made all the old men go home feeling a little better about themselves.  It was fantastic to watch.  Go two-two!

I saw the Movie Rush over the weekend. Open wheel Formula 1 racing. They showed Watkins Glen, Monaco, Japan etc. I was rooting for Thor (James Hunt) the whole time. Niki Lauda was without question overall the better driver and better tactition. He stood the test of time. The Brit was much more entertaining and worthy of his fame. Ron Howard usually overdoes it a bit with the drama, but this time I believe he was spot on. This movie won't win any oscars, but It was enjoyable and informative about a sport I know little about. It was certainly interesting enough that I google searched both James Hunt and Niki Lauda.

I give the movie a solid B+

Interesting facts. They were much better friends than portrayed in the movie.

Niki Lauda actually won a world championship in 1984 with a McLaren car (he rode Ferrari in the movie and most of his career).

James Hunt rung the bell a reported 5000 times. He died at 45 of a heart attack.

Niki Lauda had his own airline.

Good movie
