I'm checking in Caboose! I know it's been unacceptable the gap in time for me to voice up. For the first time in my career I was told I was not allowed to take a single vacation day in December. With only 1.5 biz days left in the year, I will be checking in more starting in Jan.
you're right about the new machine - I will make a post for the yard test ride.
: "ITS 83 Mars Hill to Presque Isle is groomed and in good shape. ITS 83 Mars Hill to Bridgewater is also groomed and in good shape for local traffic. There is still a logging operation south of Bridgewater where the trail is closed. Use the DETOUR as signed by ITS 81 in Mars Hill and the #9 Lake Trail in Monticello. This will add approximately 20 miles to your trip so plan accordingly for fuel. #9 Lake Trail is groomed and in fair condition. The wooded areas still have some brush hanging into the trail. There are also a number of areas where water had pooled so those are now ice spots. Route 70A is groomed and in good condition. ITS 81 from Mars Hill southwest is groomed and in fair condition. Again wooded areas have some brush hanging into the trail. There are also a number water holes that are now ice spots. This trail as of yesterday, 12/12, was only groomed to the Route 70A intersection. ITS 81 northeast from Mars Hill to Easton is groomed and in good condition. If you see no snowmobile signs please obey them. Our trails across privately owned land are a privilege not a right. Stay on the marked trails as in many cases the trail is where it is for a reason. Ride Safe and enjoy." - John Bailey, Central Aroostook SC
