I can't do Jan 15th (MLK) or Jan 16th. I can do anytime in Feb if it doesn't include March 1st. Are we talking about wrapping a weekend around this trip?
I hope we can work out some dates. Throw some exact dates out there, see if it can stick.
Kind of hard to forget about just yet when it's still sitting in the middle of the garage. 1101 was over yesterday and I could tell he really liked it, I fell for it's looks the same way. He is seriously considering joining us for the Canada trip and is looking for dates, I told him to come to the meeting to pick them but we can't even get members to agree to a date. It's time for some texts.
Told him to block third week in Jan or last week of Feb or second week of March. We have done trips in all those weeks.
Sincere apologies #7, you are correct, in my haste and thoughtlessness I looked at my tag line and saw 2016 WPROTY and thought this year was 2017 - but of course, it's confusing like the NFL season, I never know what to call it, like when the Pats win the SB again this year, will they be the 2017 Champs or the 2018 Champs?
As I think about it, technically, we both opened the check book for last year's season - but I did in May and you did when we could see our breath. The difference is you had to peel protective stickers off your brand new machine, while I had to dust mine off from someone else's garage. So there is no question of who made the better buying decision, and the demonstrated the greater commitment to the sport and the club. No question at all.
Dilly Dilly (do they say that for Bud drinkers? Or just Bud Light drinkers??
I'm glad to see you back with the Star. That's where you're from and that's where you belong. I can't say there is a sharper looking sled out there than the one you just got.
If you want to be WPROTY two years running, you will have to win it this coming season and next. I'm pretty sure I won it last season. With your excitement about the season and your recent purchase you have taken a sizable early season lead.
I can list the members of this club who at one time or another followed the Star: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1776, 22, 388 and I'm sure I'm missing a few. After all these years, only one still follows the Star. After 14 consecutive seasons he did go astray last season, but it only took a handful of rides, or rather, attempts to ride, to recognize the sheer magnitude of the failure of his decision.
So the club can rest assured, Polaris is once again proudly represented among our ranks, and I suspect in style too. The engine is not a question, it has proven itself beyond the shadow of a doubt in any members eyes. The new owner did call into question where was the innovation of the new generation of sleds, but the boys in Minnesota answered the bell.
See you on the trails boys. Going for WPROTY for two years running - all it takes is a check book!!
